From Milan, Italy, Giovanni Ferrari explores themes involving transformation, rebirth, and the subconscious journey of the soul.  Ferrari describes her painting technique with the word “Entropica”: meaning, “inspired by intelligent chaos” that is recognized as the core of her process.  Mixing oil and water-based colors together, she guides (rather than controls), the random patterns, shapes, and textures.  In her words: “Sometimes the colors mix, and sometimes they won’t”.  The end result of the creative process in never what is expected but nevertheless, is interesting, and positive.
